Bluff Dweller's Cave collection, Pearl May-Dean and Wesley Jay Burris

Dubbed as the 'Bluff Dweller's Cave collection' because of the envelope in which all items were found. As far as I can tell, tems date between August 20, 1902  and December 20, 1945.
Things are in some cases arguably dated, from information on them or that could be found online.

Matilda Hodges shooting death occurred when Pearl May-Dean Davis (later in life to become Burris) was 15, thus, as she was born in 1907, it is a seeming "given" that the person on ancestry com message claiming the event to have happened four years later is in error, dating the event and trial to 1924.

Also, note the cruel irony that on the back of the clipping is a notice as to how 'Aggie Marksmen Bid Fair To Have Great Success This Year'.

As to the clipping about the actress Ruth Noble, the claim is that "she was someone [Pearl May-Dean Davis-Burris] knew". As to if this is exactly true or not is not presently known, and in fact may not be known unless the woman is somehow listed in one of her various school days related scrapbooks that span from grade school through college.
This IS to say that although there is SOME information about
the actress Ruth Noble, it is rather exceedingly sparse and seems to indicate what she was most well known for was her scandal involving Sessue Hayakawa, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sessue_Hayakawa#Personal_life

As to the clipping about Francis Swim, again, supposedly someone she knew.

And the poems, one would assume things she took a liking to.

Davis-Burris (to Sovereign), pt 1 "Family"

The assumption being that none seek the seemingly self-obsessing vainglorious narcissism that comes as a result of who had a camera when what child was around, the possible war of sibling egos, the attrition of such memorabilia due to the passage of time and unforeseen events such as flooding, fire, tornadoes, mice and psycho-ex, et cetera, this is the first part of this particular album, sorted so as to be more "Family" than individual specific.
